Read the small print if
you want to know a few more things about me..........
Live in Atlanta, GA, happily married, our
cocker spaniel
is now our baby since we are "empty nesters" but he is fifteen years
old now so hard to really call him a baby! We also have a little Maltese,
her name is Veronica. Very cute! Oh, did I
mention we have two happy and
successful grown children. Please don't tell my kids I first told you
about our dog :-)
I found out I had ADD later in life. It explained many of the difficulties I have faced. Like why I've always started
a million different things and didn't finish them. (I've taken a lot of "heat"
for that!) And why I can't seem to close drawers, doors or cabinets. Or why I have to
leave things out where I can see them. I can't file everything away because then
I can't see the stuff and I forget if I have it or where I put it. I have
finally developed a pretty good system.
The part of ADD that has been wonderful for me shows up in my
love to create. I love to create anything, from a meal to decorating a room to a
business. That's
when my ADD really works for me! I have learned how to take my natural talents
and turn them into strengths. (We do this in coaching) I paint in oils, acrylic and pastel, and do
mixed media pieces.
My favorite way to relax and recharge is to sit
on the beach and watch the sun set. Also love to hear the sound of the waves. My
favorite beach is Seagrove Beach, Florida. I've tried to spend time in the
mountains but I think I'm really a "water" person. I enjoy listening to music and
love to go to the movies (but I do re-cross my legs and shift around - - - - a lot!)
One of my favorite things to do is to read, but it can take me forever
sometimes, my attention tends to drift......sometimes (lots of time?) I often don't
finish the book I've started...if you know what I mean! I am a spiritual person.
My mission in life is to make a difference in the lives of my loved ones and
clients. I feel very grateful for having what I have and although I can't deny
that my life would
have been easier without ADD, I don't ever wish for things to be any different.
I wish the very same for you too.
I have learned that it is possible to live a
fulfilled, happy and balanced life with ADD. If you think you have ADD or have
been diagnosed, I would love to connect with you and help you create the life
you truly want and deserve. Please call me. Any time.
